Transloads

Transload Service involves transferring cargo from one mode of transportation to another during the shipping process. This service is commonly used when shipping goods between different transportation systems, such as from ocean container to truck or viceversa.

If a shipment is going to multiple locations, a “transload fee” that gets applied is typically to cover the labor for de-consolidation at a warehouse, palletizing the freight and loading it into the trucks for final delivery.

Efficient transfer

Optimizes the flow of goods by enabling the combination of different modes of transport, resulting in a more efficient supply chain.

Delivery flexibility

You can adapt routes and modes of transport to the specific needs of each shipment, giving you greater flexibility to reach any destination.

Cost reduction

By choosing the most appropriate mode of transport for each leg of the journey, you can take advantage of more competitive rates and reduce overall transportation costs.

Space optimization

Transloading allows you to consolidate loads from different origins onto a single vehicle, maximizing the use of available space and reducing the costs associated with part-load transportation.
